Make Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Sweet Potatoes with Me!
I’m trying to learn to cook new things! Specifically, I’m trying to learn to cook healthy food that tastes great!
I recently tried this recipe and thought it turned out well so I decided to share it.
My husband is self-proclaimed Brussels sprouts hater. And let’s face it, vegetables that aren’t cooked well don’t make you want to eat them. But he said these are probably the best Brussels sprouts he’s ever eaten! (I’ll consider that a win!)
I love roasted vegetables because it adds a lot of flavor and gives them a great texture.

My modifications are below.

- 2 sweet potatoes instead of 1
- 1 extra tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
- no paprika
- heaping teaspoon of salt
- pinch of crushed red pepper
- cook an extra 5 minutes for more crunch!
