Easy Chia Seed Granola Bar Recipe
These tasty granola bars are loaded with nutritious ingredients like sunflower seeds, chia seeds (a complete protein!), and oatmeal. Not to mention they are easy to make and are perfect for on-the-go snacks.
They also have craisins, chocolate chips, and honey in them so they are great for a sweet treat.
Combine, chill, store, and enjoy this easy recipe!
Recipe:
- 2 cups oats (I used gluten free)
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup chia seeds
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut
- 1 cup craisins
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (I used Toll House Allergen Free)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Heat honey, coconut oil, and vanilla. Allow to cool.
Combine remaining ingredients then add honey mixture.
Pack into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Lining the dish with parchment paper makes these granola bars easier to cut. (After chilled, remove from pan and cut on a cutting board.)
Chill, cut, and store in fridge or freezer.
